摘要: 目的:探索药学英语与文献检索课程融合的教学模式。方法:采用定性内容分析法,分析药学英语与文献检索课程现况、融合的必要性,并就其融合及相关评价方法提供建议。结果:药学英语课程主要为了培养能够与国际接轨的医药工作者,常见问题为传统教学方式枯燥,内容本身过于庞杂,难以激发学生的学习热情;文献检索课程主要为了培养学生的信息素质,提高学生的信息获取使用能力,常见问题为内容不够全面,针对性不够强,实用性有待提高。药学英语与文献检索课程的融合有利于更好地满足学生对英文科技文献或专业信息进行检索的实际要求。建议在药学英语和文献检索课堂教学中引导学生使用药学英文检索工具进行专业知识搜索和运用药学英语词汇撰写文献检索实践报告;同时,改变传统的成绩评价,以多种形式对学生的学习效果进行评判,如将对学生的文献检索实践报告列入总体成绩评价。结论:通过两门课程的有机结合,可提高学生学习的积极性,使其专业英语水平和信息获取能力同时得到提升,让学生能够从中真正获益。
ABSTRACT: OBJECTIVE: To explore the teaching mode of the integration of pharmaceutical English and literature retrieval course. METHODS: Qualitative content analysis was adopted to analyze the current situation and integration necessity of pharmaceutical English and literature retrieval course, and the suggestion were put forward the integration and evaluation method. RESULTS: Pharmaceutical English was mainly for training the medical staff with international standards, the common problems were as follows: traditional teaching methods were boring, the content itself was too complex and it was hard to stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning; literature retrieval course was mainly for training the information awareness of students to improve the ability to use information acquisition, the common problems were as follows: the contents were not comprehensive enough, target was not strong enough, and practicality needed to be improved. It well met the requiements of the students on scientific literatures or professional information retrieval to integrate pharmaceutical English with literature retrieval course. For the learning of pharmaceutical English and literature retrieval course, the students should be guided to use pharmaceutical English retrieval tools for searching professional knowledge, and write a literature search practice report by using pharmaceutical English vocabulary. Mutiple evaluation methods instead of traditional ones evaluated learning effect,such as literature search practice report was included in overall performance evaluation. CONCLUSIONS: The organic combination of the 2 courses can improve students’ enthusiasm of studying and the professional English level and ability of information acquisition to make students benefit from the combination of the 2 courses.
